Our Story

James was born and raised on this farm.  Throughout his childhood he raised Red Angus Cattle - the same lineage that we have now.  We work hard so we have happy cows that get to enjoy being cows out on pasture 100% of their life.

James acquired the beekeeping itch from his grandfather who had hives in the mountains of Mt Airy and produced sourwood honey.  While we don't have an abundance of sourwood trees, we do have plenty of clover and wildflowers to make some delicious raw honey.
